What is Unifrog?
As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional careers guidance and personalised support, we use Unifrog—an award‑winning online careers platform that helps students explore future education and career pathways. From Year 7 through to Sixth Form, Unifrog enables students to make informed decisions about their next steps, whether that’s further study, apprenticeships, or university both in the UK and abroad.
All Bristol Free School students (Year 7–13) have their own individual Unifrog login, which they can access both in school and at home.
How Does It Help Students?
Unifrog brings a wide range of information and tools together in one easy‑to‑use platform. It supports students by offering:
- Careers Guidance: Students can explore a variety of career paths, understand the qualifications required, and learn from professionals across different industries.
- Subject Choices: Interactive tools help students consider how their subject choices link to future goals and personal interests.
- University & Apprenticeship Search: Students can compare universities, courses, and apprenticeship opportunities based on interests, predicted grades, and more.
- Application Support: Whether applying to sixth form, university, or an apprenticeship, Unifrog provides guidance on writing personal statements, CVs, and applications.
- Work Experience & Competency Tracking: Students can record skills, achievements, and experiences in a personal portfolio, which can be shared with teachers or prospective employers.
Logging into Unifrog
Student Login
All students have a personal Unifrog account giving them full access to the platform both in school and at home.
Students can log in for the first time in two ways:
- Welcome
Email:
All students have received a welcome email from Unifrog to their school email address. This contains a link allowing them to set their password and log in.
- Reset via the
Website:
Students can also visit Unifrog.org, select ‘Reset password/Resend welcome email’, and use their school email address to set a new password.
Parent/Carer Login
Unifrog is designed to be inclusive and transparent, helping parents and carers stay connected to their child’s journey through secondary school and beyond. Your own account allows you to explore resources, view activities, and support your child with key decisions—such as choosing GCSEs, post‑16 pathways, or preparing for university and apprenticeships.
Parents and carers of Bristol Free School students can create their own Unifrog account, which gives access to:
- Activities completed by their child, including interactions tagged with their name
- Upcoming events recorded for their child
- The same guidance tools and resources available to students
This helps you support your child throughout their Unifrog journey.
Creating Your Parent/Carer Account
- Visit Unifrog.org.
- Click ‘Sign in’, then select ‘Reset password/Resend welcome email’.
- Enter the email address linked to your child’s Bristol Free School profile.
- You will receive an email with instructions to set your password and access your account.
