Mott Macdonald have opened their applications for their fantastic STEM Work Experience programme.  During the week you’ll get an inside view of life at a global engineering, management, and development consultancy, and explore a wide variety of career paths in this industry.

Burges Salmon offer a Bright Sparks programme where you’ll spend a week getting to know what life’s like in a role of lawyer and the areas of law and sectors that they practise.

Bristol Airport will provide you with the opportunity to learn what it is like to work at an operational airport and will include insights into Engineering, Ground Transportation, Airside Operations, Sustainability, Marketing, Terminal Operations, HR, Retail & Hospitality.  If you are interested in a career in aviation, this could be for you.

Beard are a construction company who strive to provide valuable work experience for students with a genuine interest in the built environment, with the aim of inspiring young people into careers in construction.  They offer insights into:

Royal Mail doesn't just deliver post.  They employ people in many different sectors including Engineering, Finance, IT, Marketing and Legal.   

 

 

 

Theatre Royal Bath are hosting a fantastic opportunity for those that wish to creatively explore a career in theatre-making and producing. Students will learn about the business of theatre-making in a series of workshops and talks from industry professionals. 

 

 

Wessex Water, which is part of the YTL Group, offer an opportunity to find out what it could be like to work in the water industry. If you’re interested in electrical engineering, construction design, water pollution or IT, their work experience programme should include something that suits your interests.

in business and finance

Applications for BDO’s Work Insight Programme are now open!

Over the course of this three-day Work Insight Programme, you will have the opportunity 
to:
• Meet with professionals currently working at BDO to learn more about their 
experience working in a range of roles within business or finance
• Practice your transferable skills including problem solving and leadership, 
alongside specific industry knowledge regarding accountancy, tax, and business 
advisory
• Gain valuable experience that you can put on your CV, or applications to university 
or apprenticeships
• Learn top-tips for how to apply to roles at BDO, including their apprenticeship and 
graduate roles

This is a fantastic opportunity for students who are interested in careers in Business, 
Finance, or Accountancy, or are still considering options in a range of careers.

The programme is running on Wednesday 8th July - Friday 10th July in central Bristol. We will 
reimburse your travel to and from the office location, and lunch will be provided.
